Deep Space Installation

nylon cord and balsa wood rods
30’x 20’ x 10′
Nigel Greenwood Gallery, London, UK

Cord is stretched between eye-hooks on opposite walls. Black balsa wood rods are composed to suggest an overall pattern of “flow”. The rods just lie on the cord and are not permanently attached. The linear material makes the installation appear “flat”. Only by referring to the wall attachments is the spacial volume comprehensible.
